24 hours after mother’s death, Gov Namadi loses son in auto crash
Abdulwahab Umar Namadi, son of the Jigawa State Governor, Usman Namadi, died in an auto crash in the state on Thursday.
The incident occurred just 24 hours after the governor’s mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, passed away.
Abdulwahab was returning from Kafin Hausa to Dutse with his friends when his vehicle veered off the road and somersaulted.
He died at the scene.

The injured victims are currently receiving treatment at the General Hospital in Dutse.
The Jigawa State government confirmed the incident in a statement issued by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Malam Sagir Musa.
“We mourn with His Excellency and his family. This is indeed a painful moment for all of us in Jigawa State. May Allah grant the deceased Aljannah Firdaus,” the statement read.
