2face confirms affair with Edo lawmaker, says he wants to marry her
‘African Queen’ crooner Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known in music circles as 2face, has officially declared that he is in a romantic relationship with an Edo lawmaker, Honourable Natasha Osawuru.
The multiple award-winning musician, in a video post shared on his official Instagram page on Wednesday morning, confirmed his romance with the Edo lawmaker.
He also took time to address rumors that the hookup with Natasha was not the reason for his recent divorce from his wife, Annie.
“Yes, I love her. She’s amazing; she’s cool. I want to marry her. That is on one side. On the other side, Annie and I are not fighting; we are not quarreling; we have a good understanding of ourselves and what’s going on,” 2face said in the video.
His confirmation comes days after his surprise visit at the Edo State Assembly sparked social media controversy and fueled rumors that he was having an affair with a female politician.
Reports say his visit swiftly descended into chaos as lawmakers and staff were taken by surprise by his unexpected entrance, disrupting proceedings as all eyes were on him.

In addition to provoking more emotions amid his current divorce drama from wife Annie, the singer’s unexpected arrival at the plenary session heightened rumors about his supposed romance with Osawaru, which he has now confirmed.
Natasha Osawuru is the granddaughter of billionaire Gabriel Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom and like many public figures, she has not been immune to media scrutiny as her growing popularity has led to increased media coverage of her political activities.
Recall that her purported expulsion from the Edo State Assembly plenary session due to a dress code controversy recently garnered media attention.
Additionally, several speculated that she was engaged to 2face while his wife, Annie, was purportedly in rehab, despite social media claims that linked her to the artiste.
