Abducted Edo Catholic priest regains freedom after 9 days
The abducted priest of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Ivukwa, in the Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State, Rev. Fr. Peter Ekweli, has regained his freedom.
He was abducted with a seminarian, Peter Andrew, on March 4.

The spokesman for the state police command, Moses Yamu, confirmed the incident on Friday.
He said priest was rescued by the police, adding that the police would come up with an official statement later.
