Popular Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx has recounted how he almost lost his life after he suffered a medical emergency in 2023, which left him bedridden for months.

Foxx reportedly discussed the “near-death experience” in full during his standup show, “Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was,” which debuted on December 10.

Longtime Foxx fan Demecos Chambers, who attended the Atlanta filming, told CNN that the Oscar winner talked extensively about his recuperation and disclosed his unknown ailment.

According to Chambers, Jamie Foxx revealed every detail of the sequence of events, from fainting on the set of “Back in Action” to regaining consciousness 20 days later.

Foxx reportedly told the audience that “he passed out and remembered waking up” before calling it a “near-death experience.”

“He spoke about waking up in the hospital,” Chambers continued. “He thought he just passed out for a second, but it was two or three weeks. He was in a stone-cold coma.”
