Actress Bimbo Ademoye shares opinion about parenting, safeguarding children
Sultry Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has taken to social media to share her opinion about parenting and safeguarding children in the world that we live in today.
The talented thespian who opened up on her thoughts on the matter said that some parents have no idea what their children are seeing, watching, or hearing.
Bimbo also used the platform to offer gratitude to a large number of her admirers who identified with her film “Shining Star,” which dealt with issues of childhood abuse and trauma.
The actress wrote; “Posted this on my story and thought to bring it on here. Saw this on @lindaikejiblogofficial and got a number of tags from people saying it reminded them of “SHINING STAR”.
“I was shocked I won’t lie. I remember when ‘Shining Star’ aired, I got several backlash on how the movie wasn’t “realistic ” Some said it didn’t “make sense” ,story line no follow, how would an 11 year old boy hide a body, how would he even think about it.

“Someone even said lopeda talked too much. Asin a 12 vear old talked too much. A number of people didn’t like it because it wasn’t happily ever after.
“Some even said there’s no way it could have been a true life story. Anyways, a large number of people could relate, single parents, kids who had been abused by their parents, kids who had been abused by relatives who are now adults but still live with the trauma.
“Multiple mothers reached out to me and told me how the film touched them. YouTube limited monetization and views. In all, I’m so000000o grateful for you guys, ALL opinions are more than welcome (yes! Even criticisms too).
“We can always agree to disagree) Dear parents, PLEASE, be very watchful and very present. You have no idea what your kids are seeing, watching or hearing. The world is in a different place today, be vigilant! A ku Monday o.”
