Actress Ini Edo announces death of her ‘first love’ 

Notable Nollywood actress Ini Edo has taken to social media to reveal the tragic death of her father, calling him her “first love” and “greatest cheerleader.”

The thespian shared the heartbreaking news on her Instagram page on February 24, 2025, expressing her sorrow and saying that she is finding it hard to believe that her father is no more.

In addition to acknowledging that the skies have gained an angel and wishing her late father rest, Ini Edo expressed her sorrow, stating he would always be in her heart.

“This post has been the hardest to make… I have lost my greatest cheerleader… My Beloved Father, My first Love..The Heavens have gained an Angel. You will forever remain in my heart. Rest on King,” the actress wrote on her Instagram page.
