Akiolu on Twitter fire over comment on Ndigbo
Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu is facing a deluge of assault on Twitter, over his reported warning to Igbos in Lagos that if they refuse to vote for the APC governorship candidate in Lagos, they will die in the lagoon.
APC stalwarts have tried to pin the blame on the PDP, that the opposition party is trying to create disaffection for the APC. But many people have called on the party (APC) to issue an official statement n the comment, which they say the traditional ruler has not cared to deny, since it went viral.
Below are some of the comments that have been made over his admonition…

If the news about Oba Akiolu’s threat is true, then our Monarchs should be reminded of their exalted non-partisan office. @AkinwunmiAmbode
Please do they strip Obas off their title? If yes they should strip Oba Akiolu Rilwan off his title and he should be punished.

I really PRAY the statements credited to the Oba of Lagos are false. What a monumental slur on our TRADITIONAL VALUES it would be otherwise.
