Bandits kill 15 in Kebbi community
Bandits on Friday killed at least 15 people in the Mera community, Augie Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The Deputy Governor of the state, Abubakar Umar Tafida, confirmed the news to journalists when he paid a condolence visit to the families of the victims on Saturday.
He assured the people of the state the government would bring the perpetrators to justice.
The deputy government stressed that the government would work closely with security agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of the citizens.
The victims have been buried at a cemetery in the community.
