Former female housemate of the Big Brother Naija (BBN) reality TV show, ‘Lockdown’ edition, Rebecca ‘Nengi’ Hampson, has confirmed that she is expecting a baby.

The reality TV star who made the disclosure in a post shared on her X page (formerly Twitter) also used the medium to deny allegations that the baby’s father is a married governor.

As much as she feels that social media lies aren’t worth her time, she acknowledged in her statement on the social media site that people are fast to disseminate lies in our world.

Nengi went on to say that she has decided to speak out since it is not only an attack on her but also on individuals she values greatly, and she will not allow a lovely, intimate aspect of her life to be transformed into something ugly.

She wrote, “As much as I believe social media lies aren’t worth my time, I’ve come to accept that we live in a world where people are quick to spread lies without limits, so let me be clear: I’m not pregnant for any governor.

“I’ve chosen to speak coz this isn’t just an attack on me, it involves people I hold in the highest regard, and I won’t allow a beautiful, personal part of my life be turned into something ugly.

“While I continue to mind my own business and enjoy my pregnancy in PEACE, I wish y’all Love and a happy Valentine’s weekend.”
