BBNAIJA’s Uriel begins search for husband on Instagram
One of the female housemates of the Big Brother Naija (BBN) All Stars edition, Uriel Oputa has explained how caring for her sick mother has taught her a valuable lesson about forgiveness.

In an open post on her official Instagram page, the reality TV star revealed that yesterday served as a reminder of just how much she has been able to show concern for her mother.

Uriel claims that she spent the majority of yesterday feeling “unproductive” since she had to stay and feed her mother, but it also served as a reminder of how she has forgiven her.

‘‘The last few days have been incredibly hard. Yesterday, I fed my mother breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which meant I could not get to anything else.

‘‘It left me feeling unproductive, but it reminded me of one of the biggest things I have overcome: forgiveness. I had to forgive my mother. I forgave her for not making an effort to take her high blood pressure medication on time, something that might have prevented her stroke and eventually her vascular dementia.

‘‘I forgave her for likely not being here when I have children, for not being able to do our traditional rites when a woman gives birth. And I forgave myself for the way I acted at times, knowing she wouldn’t be there, over the years, I realised I was carrying a lot of anger and I finally let it go.’’ She wrote on her Instagram page.
