President Bola Tinubu has expressed his intention to reshuffle his cabinet as part of ongoing efforts to improve governance and the overall wellbeing of Nigerians.

Onanuga emphasized that while the reshuffle is imminent, he could not specify the exact timing for these changes.

In addition to the cabinet reshuffle, Onanuga revealed plans to amend the TETFUND Act. The proposed amendment aims to allocate 30 percent of the agency’s financial resources to the Education Loan Fund, a move designed to bolster funding for educational initiatives and enhance the agency’s capacity to support institutions.

On the issue of rising petrol costs, Onanuga highlighted President Tinubu’s encouragement for State Governments to invest in urban transportation systems that utilize Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered vehicles. This initiative aims to reduce transportation costs and promote a more sustainable approach to public transport.

These developments reflect the administration’s commitment to addressing pressing national issues and improving the quality of life for Nigerians, Onanuga emphasized.
