Civil servants jubilate over sacking of Women Affairs minister, Ohanenye (Video)

The sacking of the Minister for Women Affairs, Uju-Kennedy Ohanenye by President Bola Tinubu in a cabinet reshuffle on Wednesday, was reportedly celebrated by workers in the ministry who broke into wild jubilation and dancing on hearing the news.

Ohanenye was one of the five ministers who was removed by Tinubu and was immediately replaced by Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, a former Minister of State, Police Affairs.

As the news of her removal spread, some workers of the ministry were captured in a viral video celebrating the removal of the minister whom many had accused of high-handedness, corrupt allegations and incompetence.

In a viral video posted on X by one Theo Abu, the ministry staff are seen singing and dancing over the removal of Ohanenye.

“BREAKING: Wild jubilation at the Ministry of Women Affairs as President Bola Tinubu sacks the incompetent Minister of Women Affairs, Barrister Uju Kennedy,” Abu wrote under the one-minute video.
