The Kwara State government has warned that civil servants without valid Residents Registration Agency (KWSRRA) numbers would forfeit their November salary and bonuses.

The state’s Commissioner for Finance, Dr. Hauwa Nuru, gave the warning in a statement in a statement issued on Monday by the Press Secretary in the ministry, Babatunde Abdulrasheed.

This directive, according to the commissioner, was to ensure accountability and transparency in resource management in the state.

She said: “In line with our commitment to accountability and transparency, all state employees must complete their KWSRRA registration.

“This registration is crucial for establishing an accurate database, enhancing service delivery, and building trust in our processes.

“A complete database enables informed decision-making, efficient resource allocation, and fair compensation for eligible workers.

“The integrity of our data impacts all our financial and administrative systems. A complete database helps us make informed decisions, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure that every eligible worker is compensated fairly and accurately.

“All state employees who have not yet registered are urged to promptly visit the nearest KWSRRA registration centre to complete their enrollment.”
