Davido alleges plot to cancel his December show over his recent US interview on Nigeria’s economy

Nigerian Afropop singer David Adeleke, popularly known in music circles as Davdo, has raised an alarm over an alleged plot to cancel his December show due to his recent US interview.

The ‘Skelewu’ crooner has come under fire from certain critics on social media after claiming in an interview that the Nigerian economy is in shambles and preventing Nigerians in the diaspora from returning to the West African country.

Davido has now hinted in a post shared on his X page (formerly Twitter) that there is a plot to cancel his show scheduled for December 24. He noted that he does not have to perform in Nigeria.

‘‘Dem say dem go cancel my show because of my because of my interview… Looool I don not have to perform in Nigeria,’’ the silverspoon entertainner wrote on his X page.
