Deji Adeyanju bites back at Paul Okoye for calling him a social media lawyer

Deji Adeyanju, the lawyer representing Darlington Okoye, popularly known in music circles as Speed Darlington or “AKPI,” has taken a swipe at show promoter Paul Okoye, known by many as PaulO for calling him a social media lawyer.

Recall that while announcing Speed Darlington’s arrest in a post shared on his X handle, Deji Adeyanju disclosed that Burna Boy was behind his client’s arrest.

“Burna Boy is behind the harassment of Speed Darlington by the police. This is someone who has been singing against oppression and forming junior Fela, now oppressing Akpi.” Adeyanju wrote on his official X page.

While reacting to Deji Adeyanju’s comments in a post on his Instagram page, PaulO called Deji Adeyanju a social media lawyer and also urged him to get his facts right.

‘‘Lawyer Deji or whatever they call you, can you put some respect on Burna Boy’s name? Why are you even mentioning Burna Boy’s name??

‘‘You are nothing but a social media lawyer, lawyer, my a$$. Get your facts right before you open your gutter mouth. Control your client,’’ PaulO wrote on his IG page.

In his reply to PaulO’s comments on social media, Deji Adeyanju stated that he does not respond to nonentities.

‘‘I don’t respond to nonentities,’’ Deji Adeyanju fired back on his X page.
