Don Jazzy says DNA test is more important than naming ceremony

Nigerian music producer and founder of Mavin Records Michael Ajereh, aka Don Jazzy, has atated that a DNA test is more important than a naming ceremony when a child is born.

Given recent instances of paternity fraud, Nigerians are split on the necessity of DNA testing. Don Jazzy added his voice to the ongoing discussion in a message posted on his Instagram page.

He said that performing DNA testing on children is more significant than a naming ceremony and encouraged men to do so to determine the genuine paternity of their kids.

“DNA test is more important than a naming ceremony.” Don Jazzy wrote on his Instagram page.
