D’Tigress to play three warm-up games ahead of Paris Olympics

Nigeria’s senior women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, will engage in three warm-up matches in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The Games have been scheduled to take place between July 26 and August 11 in Paris.

D’Tigress recently traveled to start their pre-Olympic training camp in Saarbrucken, Germany.

This was disclosed by Making of Champions through their X handle.

The team will face Germany on July 19th and Serbia in the next three days to test their abilities ahead of the international multi-sports showpiece.

The reigning Afrobasket champion will then end their camping with a final warm-up game against Japan on July 24 before joining the Olympics in Paris.

“Nigeria will play three friendly games, playing the first one against Germany on July 19th, then Serbia (21st) and finishing off the camping phase with their last friendly game against Japan on the 24th,” the post reads.
