EFCC arrests seven suspected internet fraudsters in Edo

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested seven suspected internet fraudsters in Benin in Edo State.

The EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.

He said the suspects were arrested following credible intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet-related fraud.

“Items recovered from them include one Lexus car, laptops, and phones.

“The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” the spokesman said.
