Empty streets as #EndBadGovernance protest begins in Jos (Photos)
The streets of Jos, the Plateau State capital are practically deserted as the #EndBadGovernance protest kicked off on Thursday morning.
Popular streets in the city are practically empty while security operatives comprising of soldiers and policemen stationed themselves and their armoured tanks at strategic locations to avoid a breakdown of law and order.
Meanwhile, a few protesters were seen gathering and mobilising youths at the Secretariat Junction in readiness for the protest and a march to the Government House in Rayfield.
The 10-day nationwide #EndBadGovernance protest is staged by aggrieved Nigerians to draw government’s attention to their dissatisfaction with the hardship caused by the policies of President Bola Tinubu‘s government and poor governance generally in the country.
