#EndBadGovernance: Violence in Jigawa as protesters raze APC Secretariat
Hoodlums attacked the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Secretariat in Dutse, Jigawa State capital, on Thursday, setting vehicles ablaze and causing chaos.
In Hadejia, another area of Jigawa, the #EndBadGovernance protests turned violent, while security agents dispersed protesters marching to the Government House in Dutse.

In Gumel, the store of the state Agricultural Supply Company (JASCO), the house of the member of the House of Representatives representing Gumel, Gagarawa and Maigarati, as well as the residence of the APC Zonal Vice Chairman, were vandalized and looted by the protesters who overpowered the security agents deployed in the area.
Also, in Birninkudu, two people were injured and fertilizer and grains stores were vandalized and looted by the protesters.
Similarly, in Ringim, Jahun and Kazaure towns, the protesters took to the streets, calling for an end to bad governance
The situation remains tense in both states, with reports of ongoing clashes and destruction of property. The #EndBadGovernance protests, aimed at addressing economic hardship, have taken a deadly turn in the North-West geopolitical zone.
