EPL: Palmer scores 4 in Chelsea win, Ndidi nets own goal vs Arsenal

Cole Palmer scored four goals to help Chelsea secure a 4-2 victory over Brighton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Premier League clash saw Palmer score in the 21st, 31st and 41st minutes as well as converting a 28th-minute penalty.

Brighton had opened the scoring in the 7th minute through Georginio Rutter while Carlos Baleba scored their other goal, but their efforts were not enough to get something from the game.

At the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal also defeated Leicester City 4-2, with James Justin scoring a brace for the Foxes.

Goals by Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, Kai Havertz and an own goal by Wilfred Ndidi gave the Gunners the big win.

Super Eagles forward Ndidi scored the owngoal in added time, but had provided an assit for Justin to net his second goal for Leicester in the game.

Victory lifts Arsenal level on points with Manchester City, who could be overtaken by Liverpool if they beat Wolves at Molineux in Saturday’s late game.

At the Goodison Park, Everton defeated Crystal Palace 2-1, Brentford and West Ham played a 1-1 draw while Nottingham Forest suffer a 1-0 home defeat against Fulham.
