Ex-Most Beautiful Girl in Omowunmi Akinnifesi claims she is a virgin at 37

Omowunmi Akinnifesi, former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN), who won the title in 2005, has told those who care to listen that she is a virgin at the age of 37.

The beauty queen, who made the disclosure in a video shared on her social media page, said that the year she won MBGN in 2005, she made a covenant with God that she would remain celibate until she is married.

In the video, she said, “Personally, I had a covenant with God when I was 18 about keeping myself.

“People will say celibate but I’ve never done before.” Omowunmi added in the post.

She claimed that it was difficult since she had no one to mentor her and that she was embarrassed to talk about it because the women in her social circle would make fun of her.

“Because I had kept myself, I walked in shame for a very very long time. I was actually very ashamed of it and I had friends that I couldn’t talk to. When I finally spoke to them, they will laugh at me,” she disclosed.
