Ex-PDP chairman, Ahmed Makarfi’s son dies in Kaduna auto crash

Faisal Mohammed Makarfi, the eldest son of a former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) caretaker committee, Ahmed Makarfi, died in an auto crash in Kaduna State on Saturday.

A family source confirmed the incident to journalists in Kaduna.

He said the victim died from injuries sustained in the accident which occurred along the Kaduna-Zaria expressway Saturday evening.

Faisal studied Engineering at the University of Greenwich, London.

He did his M.SC programme at the institution and enrolled for his PhD before his death.

The deceased’s father was also the Kaduna State governor from 1999 to 2007.
