Facebook plans crackdown on ad targeting without consent
Social media giant, Facebook is scrambling to add safeguards in opposition to abuse of consumer information after reeling from a backlash over the Cambridge Analytica scandal.
Reports say Facebook will launch a certification instrument that ensures e-mail addresses used for advert focusing are rightfully attained.
This new Customized Audiences certification instrument was recomended by Facebook representatives to their advertising purchasers, based on two sources.

A Facebook representative notes that “for any Customized Audiences information imported into Fb, Advertisers can be required to symbolize and warrant that correct consumer content material has been obtained.”
Facebook may also forestall the sharing of Customized Viewers information throughout Enterprise accounts.
