Apparently to fulfill his promise to return to Nigeria after his foreign shuttle, former President Goodluck Jonathan, Wednesday, returned to the country after a month’s trip to the United Kingdom and Côte d’Ivoire.

According to reports, the former President arrived the Port Harcourt International Airport, Rivers State, before heading for his home town, Otuoke, Bayelsa State.

Jonathan reportedly touched down at 9pm Nigerian time.

Confirming the former President’s return, one of his associates said: “I have spoken with the ex-President and he said that he has returned to the country.”
