GAY TALK AGAINST BURNA BOY: Speed Darlington gets bail after mother’s plea
Nigerian musician Darlington Achakpo popularly known as Speed Darlington has been granted bail following his arrest for insinuating that his colleague Burna Boy is gay.
Speed Darlington who was feared to be missing was actually arrested after Burna Boy filed a cyberbullying petition against him, for sharing a video online in which he made insinuations about Burna’s s3xuality following the arrest of Puff Daddy.
In the video which landed him in trouble. Speed Darlington stated that Burna Boy made a breakthrough in the American music scene and received a Grammy nomination after meeting with Puff Daddy.

The controversial comic singer went on to rhetorically ask Burna Boy about the number of Diddy baby oils that were used on him while he visited Puff Daddy.
Speed Darlington’s bail which comes after his mother (Miss Queen) pleaded for his release was made known by his lawyer Stan Alieke in a post shared on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
“My client, Mr Darlington Achakpo has been granted bail and image has reconnected with his family and loved ones, especially his loving mother.” Stan’s message read in part.
