Jetvan automobiles launches Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

It was all glamour and splendour as Mercedes-Benz Sprinter mini-bus made a grand entry into the Nigerian market penultimate Tuesday.

The grand unveiling of the 12-seater bus which provides an off-the-shelf solution with outstanding features held at the Mercedes-Benz Arena located in Ajah, Lagos.

The well-attended event, which witnessed the royal presence of Kabiyesi Ikuforji of Epe, also marked the official launch of Jetvan Automobiles, the authorized dealer of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter buses in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The entry of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus is set to redefine road transportation in Nigeria. With seating for up to 12 and plenty of room for luggage, the bus has a well-equipped modern interior, great safety features and sleek exterior, giving both driver and passengers a high degree of flexibility and innovation to enjoy.

Speaking at the unveiling, MD of Jetvan Automobiles, Tobi Ajayi, shed light on the core values of Jetvan Nigeria and the exciting features of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus.

He said, “In business, we understand that time is money and our philosophy is to provide unbeatable customer satisfaction. Times and technology may change, but the way we do business has not changed because superior customer satisfaction is at the core of our value system.

“At Jetvan Nigeria, we have a very strong customer orientation and integrity is a watch word. We don’t just sell or repair buses because anybody can do that, but what we do is provide you with cost effective and time efficient transport solution in the minibus transport sector of the Nigerian economy.

“The Mercedes Sprinter bus is the best bus for the Nigerian market considering its specifications and safety features. It takes your business to another level, no matter the sector you operate in.

“The Sprinter bus, like every Mercedes-Benz brand, does not compromise on quality, efficiency and safety. The best part is that it is a versatile automobile as it is both a luxury and a commercial product” he added.

The occasion, which was graced by some of Nigeria’s leading transport companies, corporate chieftains and members of the political class, provided a huge platform for the celebration of the competitive edge of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

The chairman of GIGM.com (God is Good Motors), Chidi Ajaere, was particularly enamoured by the superior performance delivered by the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

He said, “I think that one of the best decisions we have taken to drive efficiency in our operations and provide better comfort and safety for our guests is the switch to the Sprinter bus. The return on investment has been tremendous”.

Other major transporters who spoke eloquently of the Sprinter bus were Messrs Martin Ojukwu of E. Ekeson Motors, Onyenwe Paschal of FG Onyenwe Motors, Chris Anachebe of GUO Motors, Ukpai Ukwuo of Bonny Ways Motors, Donald Osagie of Muyi Motors and Dickson of Agofure Motors.

Members of the political class who graced the event were Senator, Ganiyu Solomon who represented Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Jimi Agbaje, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial aspirant for Lagos state in the 2015 election, Chief Dan Orbih, Edo State PDP chairman, and Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu among others.

Also in attendance was Mr Chukwudi Anyanwuocha, General Manager, Jetvan Automobiles Limited.

The new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter bus was unveiled by Mr Michael Bromberger and Mrs Elizabeth Itegbe of Weststar Associates Limited.
