‘God bought my private jet for me, not church offerings and tithes’ —Bishop Oyedepo
The Founder of Living Faith Church, also known as Winners’ Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has dismissed speculations that his aircraft was purchased using church members’ offerings.
Bishop Oyedepo dismissed widely held speculations that he used church offerings and tithes to buy his private jet, saying that God bought the aircraft for him.
Bishop Oyedepo who made the assertion in a video which has been trending since Tuesday, clarified that the aircraft was an act of divine provision rather than financial planning, fundraising or personal ambition.
In the video, the man of God said he had never put pressure on his church members to contribute money for him to acquire anything as God always has a way of providing his needs.

“The offering didn’t buy it oo! God bought it. There was no person contacted under heaven. No! God said it and I believe it and that settles it.”
The Bishop also emphasized that the purchase of the private jet was not driven by personal ambition but by divine orchestration, adding that if God had asked him about acquiring an aircraft, he would have hesitated, as it wasn’t something he planned for.
“It wasn’t an ambition, it was an unveiled divine agenda. If God asked me ‘David, when do you want that aircraft to be bought?’ I would have said ‘God, take it easy, take it easy, we are not near ready. Aircraft?
“’Okay, let me find out first how much they sell it.’ He didn’t give us the room to find out. Not the aircraft that would go from here to Ilorin or Ogbomosho.”
