Gov Idris signs Kebbi’s 2025 budget of N580bn

The Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, on Friday signed the state’s N580 billion 2025 appropriation bill into law.

The State House of Assembly passed the budget earlier in the week.

In his remark after signing the budget, the governor commended the lawmakers for the swift passage of the appropriation bill.

He said the budget would improve the quality of life in the state.

Idris reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the effective implementation of the budget.

Earlier, the Acting Speaker of the House, Muhammad Samaila Bagudo, said the parliament reallocated funds by reducing the contingency fund from capital expenditures and adding it to recurrent spending.
