Gov Mohammed signs N467bn 2025 budget in Bauchi
The Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, on Friday signed the state’s 2025 budget of N467 billion into law.
Mohammed presented the N465 billion 2025 appropriation bill to the state House of Assembly for approval on November 21.
In his remark at the signing ceremony held at the Government House in Bauchi, the governor said the budget implementation would take effect from January 1, 2025.
He commended members of the Assembly for their review of the budget proposal.
According to him, the budget represents his administration’s mission to develop the state.

Governor Mohammed assured that other sources of revenue would be leveraged to optimise the state’s budget performance.
Earlier, the Speaker of the Assembly, Abubakar Sulaiman, said the budget was raised to N467 billion from N465 billion to accommodate the state’s developmental needs.
He added that the Assembly through the various committees meticulously reviewed the budget proposal to ensure that adequate resources were allocated to all sectors.
