Gunmen kill councilor, youth leader in Ebonyi
Gunmen on Tuesday evening killed a councillor in Enuagu ward in Isu, Onicha local government area of Ebonyi State, Stanley Nwaeze, and a youth leader in the area, Arinze Ugochukwu.
The spokesman for the state police command, Joshua Ukandu, confirmed the incident to journalists on Tuesday in Abakaliki.

He said: “I received the report from a divisional police officer of Onicha LGA that the incident happened on June 2.
“The incident is confirmed and police is investigating the matter.”
