INEC debunks report on CVR, PVC resumption date
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Tuesday dismissed a report on the resumption of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) and the replacement of lost Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
The Chief Press Secretary to the INEC Chairman, Mr. Rotimi Oyekanmi, made the clarification in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.
He said INEC’s attention had been drawn to a misleading report that the CVR and PVC replacement would resume on May 27.
