Iyabo Ojo expresses regret for demanding exhumation of Mohbad’s corpse
Sultry Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has expressed regret for advocating the exhumation of the corpse of late Afro-pop singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad.
Mohbad died in mysterious circumstances on September 12, 2023.
The mother of two, who opened up during an interview with her colleague, Biola Bayo, said if she had known that her move would turn out the way it was, she wouldn’t have demanded the exhumation of the late singer’s corpse.
She said: “I did my best. If I knew Mohbad’s case would turn out this way, I wouldn’t have requested that he be exhumed.

“He hasn’t been buried till now. The dad says he wants a DNA test done, and I hear the court has granted that now. But I hear the dad has conditions again.”
The thespian lamented that while she and others pushed for investigations into Mohbad’s death, “various theories and distractions” diverted attention from the quest for justice.
“I just wanted his body exhumed so they could do the autopsy and find out the cause of his death.
“I did my best to make sure everyone was investigated. But when they came up with different theories, DNA became their target and was more important,” Iyabo Ojo added.
