The pair of Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez and her estranged husband Ben Affleck hope to stay ‘connected’ together after their divorce proceedings are made official.

This was made known in a report published by Page Six, which disclosed that Jennifer Lopez, 55, and Ben Affleck, 52, want to be close together despite not being romantically involved.

‘’They have every intention of continuing to be in each other’s lives despite not being romantically involved,” an insider told the publication.

Most of their kids ‘attend the same school, so they’re bound to spend time together,’ the source continued.

According to the insider, the A-list ex-couples ‘have a mutual regard for one another,’ even though they seemed to be at odds in the last months of their brief marriage.

They disclosed that they had a strong enough regard for one another.

‘They have a lot of history,’ the source added, even as they admitted that Lopez and Affleck’s relationship had been irreversibly altered by their failed marriage and divorce.

‘Ben and Jennifer remain amicable whenever they do see each other,’ the source continued. ‘They’re still close with each other’s children, and even though they don’t have a co-parenting type of relationship, they still feel like a blended family in a lot of ways.’
