Kate Henshaw disapproves of bill by House of Reps to allow FRSC officials carry guns
Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has taken to social media to raise an alarm after the House of Representatives made moves to pass a bill allowing officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) to carry guns.
The mother of one who took to her X page to express her fears over the bill which has passed second reading listed the potential dangers of such a bill if it eventually becomes a law.
According to her, the move may be negative on citizens as cases of police brutality were yet to be addressed by the government of the day.
“We are still dealing with police brutality every now and then. Now, they want to add road safety. Who will protect the citizens?” She wrote, voicing her disapproval.
