A wave of anger swept through Government House, Port Harcourt, on Thursday after state Governor Siminalayi Fubara promised a monetary gift to protesting youths.

Addressing the protesters on Thursday, Governor Fubara acknowledged their frustrations and stated, “You are here because you want a better Nigeria. I am one of you. I see your pains. I will convey your message to the President.”
