Lagos task force arrests six for urinating on rail track

The Lagos State Task Force on Environment has arrested six persons for urinating on a rail track opposite the Nigeria Army Shopping Complex in the Oshodi area of the state.

The state’s Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this in a statement posted on his X handle on Saturday.

He said the arrest of the men was a crackdown on public indecency.

Wahab wrote: “6 defaulters were earlier today (Saturday) arrested for open urination on rail track in front of Nigeria Army Shopping Complex, Arena, Oshodi.

“The arrests were made as part of the Lagos State Government’s ongoing efforts to enforce a cleaner and more sanitary environment, under the #ZeroToleranceLagos and #CleanerLagos initiatives.”
