Late COAS Taoreed Lagbaja’s body leaves Lagos for Abuja (Photos)
The body of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja left Lagos for Abuja on Thursday.
Lagbaja’s casket draped with the Nigerian flag was accompanied to Abuja by senior military officials.
The Osun State-born army officer died on November 5 in Lagos.
He will be laid to rest at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja on Friday.
President Bola Tinubu appointed the 56-year-old as Nigeria’s 27th chief of army staff on June 19, 2023.
