Messi, Argentina win back-to-back Copa America titles
Lionel Messi has helped his country Argentina to retain the Copa America title after they defeated Colombia 1-0 in the final on Monday morning.
The Inter Miami star was substituted after he injured himself while chasing the ball during the second half.
But defending champions Argentina held on and eventually grabbed the winning goal in the 112th minute through Lautaro Martínez.

The game had been marred by a chaos outside the stadium which delayed the game for 80 minutes.
After 90 minutes of goalless football, Argentina pressed on to see off Colombia and win a record 16th Copa America.
It is now three international trophies for Messi, who is considered to be the greatest footballer that ever played the game, having also won the FIFA World Cup in 2022.
