Naira appreciates at both black, official markets, trades at N1485/$1, N1495/$1

The Nigerian currency, the naira, appreciated against the American dollar at both the official and black markets on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 trading at N1,485/$1, and N1495/$1 respectively.

At the official window, figures released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) show that the naira closed trading on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at N1,495/$1.

This is against the previous rate of N1497/$1 representing a gain of N2 as against the previous day’s rate of N1497/$1.

The naira gained N60 against the British Pound to trade at N1,900/£1 as against the previous day’s rate of N1,960\£1.

The Canadian Dollar still held steady at N1,200/CA$1.

The naira gained N40 against the Euro to trade at ₦1,550/€1 as against the previous day’s rate of ₦1,590/€1.
