Naira gains N2 to trade N1622/$1 at official window
The Naira appreciated marginally against the United States Dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Thursday.
Data from the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM) showed that the local currency traded gained N2.56 to trade N1622.57/$1, lower than the N1,625.13/$1 it traded at the official window on Wednesday.
The naira lost N5 against the dollar at the parallel section of the forex market to trade at N1,700/$1 as against the previous N1, 695/$1.

The naira gained N5 against the British Pound to trade N2,260/£1 as against the previous day’s N2,265\£1.
The Canadian dollar traded flat at N1, 280/CA$1.
The naira also gained N5 against the Euro to trade ₦1,855/€1 as against the previous day’s ₦1,860/€1.
