Nigerian politician, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party representing Egor Constituency of the 8th Edo State House of Assembly, has reacted to claims of using her traditional beads as a spiritual hold on ‘African Queen’ crooner 2face Idiabia.

Natasha, who reacted to the allegation made by 2face’s mother, Rose Idibia, refuted the claims and also stated that she did not put the beads on 2face, who wears them on his neck and wrist.

She insisted that the beads that were given to her on her birthday do not have any supernatural influence or ‘juju’ but hold cultural and sentimental value.

Natasha said, “Those beads were given to me on my birthday. They represent a princess from a royal family. You know I am from the Igbinedion Royal Family.

‘‘On my last birthday, my mom gave me three nice beads. They call it ‘EZENEKA,’ which means ‘River that never runs dry.’ The pearl on his neck was given to me by my granddad. The Queen of England gave it to him when she was alive… You know my granddad was a knight to the Queen of England.’’

Natasha denied the rumors that the beads have supernatural connotations in response to the accusations made by 2face’s mother, stating that they are only customary accessories.

‘‘So they are just traditional beads, he liked them and wore them, there is nothing to it and are not diabolical and do not also contain juju.’’ She emphasised.
