Nigerian radio personality, broadcast journalist, TV presenter, actor, comedian, and content creator, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu Wazobia, has cleared the air on rumours of him being fired from the Honest Bunch podcast.

The media personality who set the records straight at a recent press briefing in Lagos State said that he was not sacked from the Honest Bunch podcast but decided to step down.

Nedu, who came under heavy attack for featuring reality TV star Deeone, who made unpalatable claims against Very Dark Man, said he had decided to leave the podcast due to personal attacks.

“Let me clarify that I wasn’t fired from Honest Bunch Podcast. I decided to step away when the attacks became personal. So that the show can go on.” He said.

Recall that despite the ensuing controversy, Nedu had earlier declared that he had no regrets about inviting comic Deeone on The Honest Bunch Podcast.

Deeone made accusations about VeryDarkMan during his presence on the show, which caused a heated dispute. VeryDarkMan responded by accusing Nedu of orchestrating the accusations.

“I didn’t regret bringing DeeOne to the Honest Bunch Podcast. Everyone is entitled to their opinion,” Nedu said.
