Mr. Michael Adaralewa, the NSCDC Osun Command head, shared this news in a statement from the Assistant Superintendent of Corps and Public Relations Officer, Kehinde Adeleke, on Sunday.

At approximately 3:25 a.m., a gang of four armed robbers broke into a home in Onibu-Eja, stealing a vehicle at gunpoint.

“Immediately after the gang fled, community members promptly alerted the NSCDC state command for assistance,” Adaralewa noted.

Responding quickly, NSCDC officers on patrol engaged the suspects in a gunfight. The robbers, overpowered by superior firepower, abandoned the stolen vehicle and fled the scene.
