Obasanjo holds talks with Buhari at Aso Villa (Photos)
Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, on Thursday paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at Aso Villa.
Though details of their meeting are yet to emerge, the visit is coming at a time there is overwhelming disenchantment with the government over hardship experienced by Nigerians occasioned by weeks of scarcity of petroleum products and power outages.
It also comes three days before President Buhari’s planned visit to China to seek external support for the management of the economy.
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) recently served notice of an impending nation-wide strike if immediate solutions were not found to the energy crisis.
