Ogun Assembly passes 2025 budget of N1.054tr
The Ogun State House of Assembly on Tuesday passed the 2025 appropriation bill of N1.054 trillion.
The House also adjusted the recurrent expenditures of 21 agencies and the capital spending of five agencies in the state.
The passage of the budget followed the presentation of the report of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation by its Chairman, Musefiu Lamidi, at the plenary in Abeokuta.
Lamidi, thereafter, moved the motion for the bill’s adoption, with his Deputy, Wahab Haruna, seconding it.
This was supported by the Whole House.

The motion for the third reading was moved by the Majority Leader, Yusuf Sheriff, and seconded by the Minority Leader, Lukman Adeleye.
The Clerk of the House, Mr. Sakiru Adebakin, read the bill for the third time before the lawmakers.
The Speaker of the House, Mr. Oludaisi Elemide, directed that the clean copy of the budget be forwarded to Governor Dapo Abiodun for his assent.
The governor presented the 2025 budget proposal of N1.054 trillion to the Assembly for approval on December 4.
