Osinbajo alleges plot to bomb VIPs
Vice president, Yemi Osinbajo has said there is a plot by the Boko Haram sect to bomb the residence of VIPs (Very Important Persons) in the country by using scavengers to dump explosive devices in refuse bins.
Osinbajo who made the disclosure during the National Economic Council, NEC, meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, also argued that pressure should be mounted on the new service chiefs to stem the rising tide of insurgency in the country.
He decried the effect of the insurgency on the economic life of the north east, stating that public enlightenment needed to be carried out through radio and television to create more awareness.
His concerns were contained in the communiqué issued at the end of the meeting and made available to newsmen
