Oyo APC chairman dies in US
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has lost its chairman, Ajiboye Omodewu, who has had a long battle with an undisclosed illness.
Omodewu, a native of Otu-Itesiwaju, passed away in the United States, where he held citizenship. He had been receiving treatment for nearly a year before succumbing to death.

A seasoned politician, Omodewu served as a commissioner in various ministries during the administration of late former governor Abiola Ajimobi. He recently achieved a significant milestone by completing his law degree and graduating from law school.
The APC’s Publicity Secretary, Olawale Sadare, confirmed Omodewu’s passing in a brief statement.
