Oyo Assembly raises 2025 budget by N6bn
The Oyo State House of Assembly has reviewed upward the state 2025 budget to N684 billion.
This followed the adoption of the report of the House Committee on Finance, Appropriation and Economic Planning read by the chairman, Sunkanmi Babalola, during Wednesday’s plenary at Ibadan.
Governor Seyi Makinde on November13 presented a budget proposal of N678.08 billion to the Assembly.

In his remark, the Speaker of the House, Mr. Adebo Ogundoyin, said the upward review is to accommodate emerging priorities and critical projects that would drive economic growth in the state.
“This will improve infrastructure and enhance the overall well-being of citizens,” he said.
