Police arraigns gospel singer for girlfriend’s murder in Nasarawa
Police on Friday arraigned a gospel singer, Timilehin Ajayi, at the Nasarawa State High Court, Lafia, for the alleged murder of his girlfriend.
The singer was caught with the dismembered body of the victim, Salome Adaidu, Karu Local Government Area of the state last week.
Salome, 24, was a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) attached to Nicon Insurance in Abuja before her death.

The Nasarawa State Police Command confirmed Ajayi’s arraignment in a terse statement on its X handle on Friday.
The statement read: “Timilehin Ajayi was charged to court today and remanded in prison custody pending his formal arraignment.”
